Bluetooth Discoverable widget

The Bluetooth Discoverable widget allows android users to quickly change their Android’s Bluetooth status. The widget recognizes the Android’s Bluetooth status and, using color-coded icons, updates the user of any change in Bluetooth status. There are three modes: Bluetooth Off (gray icon), Bluetooth On (blue icon) and Bluetooth Discoverable (green icon).

Gray icon
- Tap on the widget in order to turn the Android’s Bluetooth On (the icon turns blue)
- A dialog box will appear asking if the user wishes to change the Bluetooth status to Discoverable mode (for 120 seconds)
- If the user chooses ‘yes’ the icon turns green

Blue icon
- Tap on the widget in order to activate the Bluetooth Discoverable mode
- A dialog box will appear asking if the user wishes to change the Bluetooth status to Discoverable mode (for 120 seconds)
- If the user chooses ‘yes’ the icon turns green

Green icon
- Tap on the widget in order to turn the Android’s Bluetooth Off (the icon turns gray)
- When the Discoverable mode expires (120 seconds) the icon turns blue
